Grace's passion for skiing started when she joined Wisconsin Waterski with only one years worth of skiing experience. As a senior in Nuclear Engineering, Grace loves to spend time on the water, especially on her trick ski. Outside of school and skiing, Grace plays the violin and loves to travel to National Parks.
Michael joined the Waterski & Wakeboard Club in the fall of 2021. He is thrilled for what is ahead as he graduates with a degree in economics in 2024. Outside of school, Michael can be found hiking, watching movies, and snow skiing (even though water skiing is superior). On the water, his favorite event is slalom.
Matayla could waterski before she could walk. Her passion for the sport is undying as she began collegiate skiing with Wisconsin Waterski. Now, she's a senior studying nursing. When Tay isn't in clinicals, she's driving the boat, practicing her tricks, and getting the team ready for the next tournamnet.
Men's Ski Captain
Devin came to the team with a splash. After spending just one summer with us, he has become one of our best slalomers and was elected the Men's Ski Captain. Currently he's a senior studying Environmental Science with exciting plans for his future. His favorite event is slalom, and in his spare time, he actively pursues his hobbies of "anything on the water."
Women's Ski Captain
Cal joined her freshman year and made waves in the team as she shattered some of our women's records. Cal is currently a sophomore undecided in her major. In the summers and outside of school, Cal is an experienced ski coach.
Heading up the wakeboard side of the team, Ben joined us his freshman year and absolutely rips out on the water. He currently is a junior in an undecided major, but we know he's certain on his wakeboarding skills. Outside of school and wakeboarding, Ben snowboards, works on cars, and boats.
Brooke has been with the team since her freshman year. Her favorite event is slalom, but off the water you can catch her downhill skiing or doing anything in the outdoors! Brooke is a senior in genetics and genomics.
Keelie is a sophomore on the pre-PA track, so we know her future is bright. As the apparel director, Keelie is always providing the team with awesome swag to order. When she's skiing for the team, her favorite event is jump. Outside of school, she loves to do anything outside.
Katya started her freshman year off right: one day she moved in, and the next she was on the boat with the team. Katya is a sophomore aspiring to one day be a nurse. She loves to hit the jump, especially after landing her first jump ever. Watch out for this girl!
Leo's a senior studying computer science, and has been on the team since his freshman year. His favorite event is trick. When Leo's not on the lake or in the classroom, you can find him playing disc golf or exploring National Parks!
In the first week of his freshman year, Brain found a team full of people who loved being on the water as much as he did. Now a senior studying biology and data science, he plans on devoting his career to clinical research. When he's not behind the wheel of a boat, he can be found hiking in the mountains, mixing music, or spending time with friends.
